People are always complaining that there is nothing to do in Medford. Whether you believe it or not there are all kinds of things to do in Medford.

This event calendar is by far one of the most robust event calendars for the area. You can find stuff happening every day and night of the week. As long as it's legal it's listed in this event calendar.

This event calendar is awesome. Here is what I like about it.

1. The general categories make it really easy to narrow down into your interests. It covers things from community events, theater and performances, live music Medford, karaoke, dancing, classes, comedy shows, and many more. Which is why I like this event calendar Medford Oregon

2. It is searchable. Finding specific events in specifc cities is easy with the search function. This feature is really nice as it is a major time saver. Scroll though all the listing and you will be enlightened to all of the fun things happening. You will find something that sounds interesting.

3. Becasue this is a community calendar everyone is allowed and encouraged to add an event. You do have to be a member in order to post an event, however, your membership is free.

This is far from being perfect. And the creators know this and are constantly tweaking it get it there. There are some features that I would like to see that I think would make it really cool. Hopefully the creaotrs will find this article someday and take my ideas into consideration.

1. It would be nice if there was a notification system. If there are certain types of events that I like I wish I could get notified about them vs. having to check the site all the time. . This would allow me to plan for these events. This is especially critical for me as I have young children and finding sitters at the last moment is tough. This feature request could already be part of their site. If it is I must have missed it.

2. Get text messages about the types of events that I am interested in that are happening that day. Now this will probably make me sad more than anything as I will rarely be able to go to any of them on short notice, but hey, you never now.

I doubt number 2 on the things they could do to make this events calendar better will ever happen. It would cost a fair amount of money. But hey, I still think it would be cool if they could figure out a way to make it happen.
